Picture of Gastown

This ominous looking picture is of Gastown from Hastings Street facing north. I liked the grit in the picture – sort of looked cool.

I’m really curious whether or not Gastown will turn into a total gong show during the Olympics. Deep down I sort of do (if only for a couple weeks!) just to see a boat load of people flood in. The way I figure it, if they’re closing streets all around where I’m living, it better be for something so bring on the tourists and make these road closures worth it!
