- This is an easy one. Pay in cash and subtract that 18% if they don't deserve the tip. Tips are supposed to be to reward good service. This practice is not only offensive, it's probably borderline illegal.February 18, 2010 - 15:03
- It's definitely offensive. Actually, it's total bullshit. I served for 7 years and I would be furious if the places I worked at implemented this. So it's not the servers fault but where I get really annoyed is when the servers give you garbage service just because they know they can.
