I know I posted a couple Jónsi pictures a while back, but I felt like popping up a few more for the heck of it.
Sigur Rós is the band Jónsi usually sings with, and I’ve been listening to them forever – since they came out basically. My friends used to think I was in some sort of bizarre depression because I listened to them, and my little brother thought the singer sounded like a dieing whale.
But I listened to each album until I was blue in the face and I loved it. This new album by Jónsi is the best ‘Sigur Rósy’ album by far though, and far less depressing then the others.
So, I’ve been listening to this new album non-stop lately, which is probably why I popped up these pictures from their show a few weeks back. This was the first time (probably the last too) I listened to an entire album played live before hearing any recorded tracks. I highly recommend doing that folks – great way to remember the album when you eventually do hear it!
